NTE Version 1.1 — June 3, 2026 Update Overview

The first major version update for Neverness to Everness (NTE) arrives on June 3, 2026, exactly five weeks after the global launch. Version 1.1 introduces two new limited S-Rank characters, three new redeem codes, multiple limited-time events, and quality-of-life improvements that address community feedback from the launch period.

This update is the first content expansion in NTE's live service schedule and sets the cadence for future version updates expected approximately every five weeks. Understanding the update schedule and new content is essential for players planning their Annulith spending and character acquisition strategy.

Version 1.1 Redeem Codes

Three new redeem codes are available with the Version 1.1 update. These codes provide premium currency and upgrade materials to help players prepare for the new banners. Redeem them immediately as codes typically expire within 2–3 weeks:

  • DREAMWALK0603: 100 Annulith, 5 Rising Hunter Guides, 5 Light Dye, 4,000 Beetle Coins
  • TOMATO100: 100 Annulith, 5 Senior Hunter Guides, 5 Colorless Dye, 6,000 Beetle Coins
  • RACENOLIMIT: 100 Annulith, 2 Elite Hunter Guides, 2 Chaotic Dye, 12,000 Beetle Coins

Combined, these codes provide 300 Annulith (equivalent to nearly 2 full banner pulls) plus significant upgrade materials. This is substantially more generous than the launch-period codes and reflects Hotta Studio's approach to rewarding players during major version transitions.

To redeem codes: Open game → Tap Menu (three dots) → Select "Redeem Code" → Enter code → Confirm. Rewards are sent to your in-game mailbox. Codes are case-sensitive and each can only be used once per account.

Version 1.1 Banners — Back-to-Back Limited Characters

Version 1.1 features two consecutive limited banners with no overlap and no gap between them. This back-to-back structure requires careful planning for players intending to pull on both banners:

Lacrimosa Banner — June 3 to June 24, 2026

LacrimosaS
ChaosLacrimosa

Lacrimosa is the first limited character of Version 1.1, available from the moment the patch goes live on June 3. Her banner runs for three weeks, closing on June 24 when Chaos's banner immediately opens.

Lacrimosa is a Chaos-element S-Rank character and the captain of Bureau of Anomaly Control, ETD-4. She introduces the Nightmare stacking mechanic — a new gameplay system that builds damage-over-time effects and unleashes them in devastating bursts. Her weapon-switching combat style alternates between Frying Pan (heavy melee) and Red Jelly (ranged rapid attacks), creating a dynamic, high-skill-ceiling playstyle distinct from existing characters.

Lacrimosa is a Liquid-type character, enabling new team compositions focused on Liquid Esper Cycle reactions. Her signature Arc is Uninvited Guest, and her optimal Cartridge set is Dinner's Ready (4-piece). She excels in sustained damage scenarios and is particularly effective in Anomaly Zones where her DoT mechanics compound over extended fights.

Rate-up A-Rank companions on Lacrimosa's banner: Haniel, Aurelia, and Skia. These are the same A-Rank companions featured on Hotori's previous banner, providing consistency for players still seeking these supports.

Chaos Banner — June 24 to July 8, 2026

Chaos is the second limited character of Version 1.1, available immediately after Lacrimosa's banner closes. His banner runs for two weeks — shorter than Lacrimosa's three-week window — and closes on July 8 when Version 1.2 begins.

Chaos is a Lakshana-element S-Rank character and a member of E.T.D. 6th Platoon. He represents a completely different design philosophy from Lacrimosa: where she is agile and ranged-focused, Chaos is a tanky melee bruiser with built-in damage reduction and self-sustain mechanics. His Solid-type classification emphasizes heavy attacks, defensive stances, and trading blows rather than avoiding them.

Chaos's signature Arc is A Time Will Come, which actually activates bonuses when his HP drops below 50% — turning his critical health state into his strongest combat phase. His playstyle rewards aggressive, in-your-face combat where taking damage is expected and often advantageous. He is exceptionally forgiving for difficult content where glass-cannon DPS characters struggle to survive.

Important: The Lacrimosa and Chaos banners do not overlap. If you want both characters, you must split your Annulith reserves carefully. Running out of pulls mid-banner is the most common mistake players make during back-to-back limited windows.

New Events in Version 1.1

Lacrimosa Story Event — June 3 to June 24

LacrimosaS
ChaosLacrimosa

A story-focused event running parallel to Lacrimosa's banner. Completing event stages unlocks rewards including Annulith, upgrade materials, and exclusive cosmetics. The event narrative expands on Lacrimosa's background as ETD-4 captain and her relationship with other Bureau characters.

Chaos Challenge Event — June 24 to July 8

A combat challenge event running alongside Chaos's banner. Features multi-wave combat scenarios designed to showcase Chaos's tank-DPS hybrid capabilities. Rewards include Chaos-themed cosmetics, upgrade materials, and significant Annulith amounts for completing all challenge tiers.

Version 1.1 Login Campaign — June 3 to July 8

A continuous login reward campaign spanning the entire Version 1.1 period. Daily login rewards include:

  • Days 1–3: 50 Annulith per day (150 total)
  • Days 4–5: Senior Hunter Guides and upgrade materials
  • Days 6–7: 100 Annulith on day 7 (cumulative 350 Annulith from login alone)

Side Events — Multiple Dates

Additional limited-time events offering Beetle Coins, Fons, and cosmetic rewards rotate throughout Version 1.1. Check the in-game event calendar for exact dates and participation requirements.

What to Prepare Before June 3

Stack Annulith

Complete all daily missions, story chapters, and available events before June 3. Every Annulith you save before the patch is one less you need to grind during the banner windows. With back-to-back limited banners, resource planning is critical.

  • Lacrimosa banner (3 weeks): Budget approximately 150–200 pulls for guaranteed acquisition
  • Chaos banner (2 weeks): Budget approximately 100–150 pulls for guaranteed acquisition
  • Total for both: 250–350 pulls (37,500–52,500 Annulith)

Decide Your Banner Priority

Most players cannot afford both characters at guaranteed levels. Decide your priority before June 3:

  • Pull Lacrimosa if: You enjoy fast-paced stance-switching combat, want sustained DoT DPS, or are building toward a Liquid-focused team composition
  • Pull Chaos if: You prefer tanky, forgiving gameplay, need a durable DPS for difficult Anomaly Zone content, or want a character who self-sustains without dedicated healers
  • Skip both if: You are saving for future characters (potential Version 1.2 leaks suggest even more powerful units) and your current roster is sufficient

Farm Upgrade Materials

Stockpile upgrade materials now so you're ready to level new characters immediately upon pulling them. Focus on:

  • Hunter Guides (Rising, Senior, Elite) for character ascension
  • Chaos/Lakshana or Chaos-element materials depending on which character you target
  • Fons and Beetle Coins for weapon and cartridge upgrades

Quality-of-Life Improvements

Version 1.1 includes several community-requested improvements based on launch-period feedback:

  • Improved loading times between zones and during character switching
  • Enhanced controller support with remappable buttons and improved camera sensitivity options
  • Mailbox capacity increase from 100 to 200 messages
  • Auto-skip for seen story scenes option in settings
  • Better visual indicators for Nightmare stacks, Anomaly Energy, and other character-specific resources

Version 1.1 vs. Version 1.0 Phase 2

Version 1.1 is a full version update, distinct from the Version 1.0 Phase 2 patch (May 13) that preceded it. Key differences:

  • Version 1.0 Phase 2: Mid-version content drop with one limited character (Hotori), two weeks of events
  • Version 1.1: Full version update with two limited characters (Lacrimosa, Chaos), five weeks of content, redeem codes, and system improvements

Expect Version 1.2 to follow approximately five weeks after Version 1.1 ends (around mid-July 2026), continuing the cadence of major updates with new limited characters.

Should You Pull on Version 1.1 Banners?

Version 1.1 presents a strategic decision point for NTE players. Both Lacrimosa and Chaos are powerful, limited characters who will not return in the foreseeable future. However, back-to-back banners strain resource reserves.

Recommendation for free-to-play players: Choose one banner and commit fully. Splitting resources between both banners risks acquiring neither character, which is worse than guaranteed acquisition of one. Lacrimosa is the safer choice for players without a developed DPS roster; Chaos is ideal for players struggling with survival in difficult content.

Recommendation for spenders: Both characters are worth acquiring if your budget allows. They fill different niches (sustained DoT vs. tank-DPS) and enable different team compositions. Having both provides roster flexibility for future content that may require specific elemental or type combinations.
